Grading Scale:
| 90 - 100 | Excellent |
| 80 - 89 | Very Good |
| 70 - 79 | Good |
| 60 - 65 | Pass |
| 0 - 64 | Fail |
Grading System for Students Enrolled in the Old System (Before 2017)
| 90 - 100 | Excellent |
| 80 - 89 | Very Good |
| 70 - 65 | Good |
| 64 - 50 | Pass |
| 0 - 49 | Fail |
Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA)
- The GPA for each semester is calculated by dividing the total number of grade points earned by the student by the total number of credit hours attempted.
- The cumulative GPA (GPA) is calculated by dividing the total number of grade points earned by the student by the total number of credit hours attempted since the beginning of their studies.
Passing Requirements:
Passing a Course: Obtaining a grade of 65% or higher for students enrolled after 2016, except for university requirement courses where the passing grade is 50%.
Passing an Academic Year:Having no more than two failed courses from the required courses.
Graduation:Obtaining a GPA of no less than 65%, which is the minimum passing grade.
CGPA Calculation for Different Study Durations:
Five-Year Programs
- First Year: 10%
- Second Year: 15%
- Third Year: 20%
- Fourth Year: 25%
- Fifth Year: 30%
Four-Year Programs:
- First Year: 10%
- Second Year: 20%
- Third Year: 30%
- Fourth Year: 40%
Important Notes:
The old grading system is applied to the university requirement courses only for students enrolled in QAUFMS after 2017 and until 2023.
