Welcome to the website of Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences.
We praise God and pray and give blessings to his messenger, the Prophet Mohammed, and his family and companions.
 Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences was established with the opening of the university in the academic year 1995/1996, and it included four specialized departments in the first stage.
The college is currently working on courses leading to the granting of a bachelor's degree in the following disciplines:
• Department of Foreign Languages: Includes English Language and Literature, English Language and Translation.
• Department of Fine Arts: includes Fine Arts (Interior Design).
The college seeks to complete some other disciplines in the second stage according to the available human and material potentials qualitatively and quantitatively.
One of the most important objectives of the college is to prepare a strong generation of personality, a decent man with a firm Islamic faith, a believer in his national unity and aware of his belonging to his nation. An important objective of the college is also to prepare specialists to work in the public sections in education, culture, media, development and other sections and institutions to contribute to the needs of the republic and the society from studies and research. Therefore, the college departments have contributed to and continue to contribute bright contributions to community service and pushing development process in the country.
We believe that the most important resource for our college is its faculty and students, who are working hard to achieve excellence and success, and we are proud of that. The availability of distinguished faculty and students is the key to building a distinguished college.
 
Our college is characterized by a highly qualified teaching staff that works in a team spirit. The most important characteristic of this team is the spirit of harmony, love and cooperation. They work with great diligence to help the students to improve their skills, and this will be reflected in students’ professional performance in their workplace.
The student is the focus of the educational process, its vitality and its very existence, and preparing him to face life and its challenges in the present and future is the main objective pursued by our college. Accordingly, the college is working on preparing a graduate with theoretical knowledge, practical experiences and positive behaviors, and who has the ability to employ them in building himself and developing his community. We provide quality education according to international standards, develop the level of academic services provided to students, and improve and develop academic programs in accordance with the needs of the labor market.
In conclusion, the college seeks to be distinguished among other colleges of arts at the Yemeni universities, and it works to develop education and quality assurance. We also believe that good education should be adapted to the developments around us. Therefore, we seek to include in the college study plans a number of skills added to departments’ courses and prepare students after graduation. Also, in line with the current vision of Queen Arwa University, the college seeks to raise the level of the educational process. In addition, the college, according to its strategic plan, seeks to focus on scientific research, dissemination of the culture of scientific research, innovation and creativity, and encouraging distinguished staff members and students to contribute to the knowledge industry. This ensures the graduation of trained cadres capable of innovation, achieving leadership in their fields of specialization and lead their communities.
